Campus
The University Business School is situated in the Panjab University Regional Centre campus spread over 2.7 Acres of prime land in heart of the city. Dotted with tree-lined walks, spacious lawns, and modern buildings, the campus provides an ambience that is conducive for healthy learning.
The UBS has been rated as the A+ Business school amongst all the B - Schools of the country. (Business India, September 2000).
Library
The University boasts of a well stocked, centrally air conditioned Extension Library offering more than 1.6 lakh volumes. It is reputed for having a collection of rare books and subscription to over 150 periodicals and newspapers as well as being the subscriber to latest journals. HBR, CMR, CJWB, Finance and Development, Fortune, Time, MRR etc. are some of the internationally acclaimed journals that find a place on the shelves of the library. It has bound back files of The Tribune and The Economic Times maintained for research purposes.
Computers
Computers form an integral part of the learning system. The school is equipped with the latest technology, having a network of P-IIIs, P-IIs, Celerons and multimedia and internet connectivity.
Classrooms are connected through LAN and computers are regularly used in the teaching process. Internet access is provided to the students 24 hours a day to enable them to update themselves with the latest in their fields of interest.
Facilities
Apart from library and computer centre, the campus has Auditorium with capacity of 260 seats, Sports facilities- Badminton, Table Tennis and is Adjacent to plush shopping malls and eateries. The Cafeteria in the campus provides wholesome and nutritious meal-plans. A multi-cuisine menu is offered to students, as per scheduled rotation. Beside meals, the cafeteria also provides evening tea/coffee and snacks. |
